Walkthrough Steps

Teleport to the flower sea, then press G to eavesdrop.

After eavesdropping, the encounter triggers. Go talk to the child.

Enter the room and talk to Chou Niang, then inspect her room.

Talk to the child again, then catch the mantis as directed and deliver it.

After eating pastries and fainting, use perception to explore footprints.

Follow the footprints, investigate, then enter the waterfall.

Light the vines to reveal Chou Niang.

After defeating Chou Niang, continue following the story.

Talk to NPC Yao Yaoyao, then go to Chou Niang's room.

Go to Chou Niang's grave and offer flowers to complete the quest.
